Treasures of Bolinao

Finally, I’ve managed to stay in this beautiful place. They offer good clean rooms, pool, and of course… the most magnificent view of what Bolinao is all about. Although, their rates is kinda expensive, but the value of memories here exceeds the value of money.

We stayed on their so called “bahay kubo”, it’s an airconditioned room and the view outside the window is beautiful.

Treasure of Bolinao

One of the highlights of this resort is their long white bridge. It’s really an eye catcher. It generates curiosity for those who could view this from distance. Maybe I must admit that this is one of the reason why I;ve gone to this place.

Beside Treasures of Bolinao lies the Patar White Beach. This is the best beach I’ve gone so far. I’ve been here a couple of times but every visit still excites me.

For the people planning to go o this resort. One of the owners of this resort (Ressie Reyes Macaraeg) is being charged in the UK Courts for grave misdealings with kapwa Filipinos. Ressie is currently living in the UK. She is being charged with duping hundreds of Filipino student nurses who have come from the Philippines. She is known to have charged each individual student around £4500 with the promise that she can convert the students’ “student visa” into a working visa. By UK law, she can not legally do this as there were so many irregularities within her business activities. Thus, the students’ visas have lapsed while waiting, and thus been deported back to the Philippines. Ressie has made lives of hundreds of kapwa Filipinos miserable and unbearable. Google “Ressie Reyes Macaraeg” for more information. The internet is awash with articles pertaining to this unscroupolous lady. So pakiusap lang po.

Please don’t patronise/support this business as a great part of this business came from the kawalang hiyang ginawa ni Ressie Reyes Macaraeg sa mga kapwa Filipinos in UK.

If you are referring to the bahay kubo in Treasures of Bolinao resort, it’s 3.5k overnight with maximum of 4 person.

Hello po…just wanted to know…since you’ve been to both Treasures of Bolinao and Puerto del Sol…which do you think is better? or what are the pros and cons to both resorts?

I’m planning to go there early June and I can’t seem to decide on which resort to stay in…Thanks!

Comment by je

If you’d like to enjoy the beach… Treasure of Bolinao is for you.

Puerto Del Sol is a Class A resort with good food, rooms, etc.. although their beach front is not that good.

I was at Treasures of Bolinao Nov.1, 2008. The beach is adjacent to the resort and is sure is great as advertised—rustic, clean, few people around. Water is so clear and clean and surprisingly tasted not as salty. Treasures accomodations would have been a delight if they charged P2,500/day. Food? I went out to another resort where I had a much better quality of food and service for the same cost. Next time around, i’d camp out at the beach itself, backpacker style. The people at the beach seemed friendly, security is no problem .

Just a swift blog on what we had expereiced at Treasures. Reading the previous blogs, its seems their is inbalance of fair comments of this resort. In September our family plan to have a get together party and our grandma wish to spend her 85th birthday by the seaside. I quickly scroll the web and found many beutiful web sites and interesting resorts. Since my grandma family origin from Pangasinan, she suggested to visit Pangasinan and in particular Bolinao. I came across a web site which represent a picturique scenery “Treasures of Bolinao”. I also looked at few web of Bolinao resort and some to them are very enticing. In our experience as a regular holiday makers we often find resort web site astonishingly well presented but regretably represent a opposite level of service and facilities. So, I decided to further my search. I went through many of the bloggers site such as this site. I later found out that many of the resort in Bolinao contents negative comments. However, I am not easily persuated with the truthfulness of the blog. I did mentioned to my cousin that we are planning to have our get togeter family reunion. Glad to say that he also been at Treasures of Bolinao on their team building “Protol and Gamble”. His fedback that this resort provided all they had requested and required. That means, I have the basis to believe the assessment of the professionals. Needless to say, our family decided to held grandma 85th birthday and family reunion.

We are very satisfied with the outcome of this important occassion. Everyone is overjoyed seeing relatives. I believe Treasures of Bolinao staff, facilities and location contributed to the success of this long waited occassion. The food was fresh, the rooms are clean and aircon working, staff are attentive, polite and good looking, security around the clock and the beach is just adjuscent to the resort. I have no hesitation to recommend Treasures of Bolinao beach resort especially to those want to held their birthday and family reunion.

As a token of our appreciation. Thank you Treasures for everything that you have done. You made our grandma birthday an occassion that well remember. We will be coming back soon. K Lopez

We had a reunion (Villasis -residents of Europe) at Treasures of Bolinao and the services were outstanding, very accommodating and even help in grilling seafoods — but the best is the most beautiful resort we’ve ever been in the Philippines. Hope they will continue to maintain the cleanliness and keep up the good service.

Comment by Ressie Macaraeg

The above comment was made by Ressie Macaraeg. Well, she had to give a very positive comment for she is the involved with the day to day runnings of the resort. Her dad is one of the owners of the resort. Her husband (or ex-husband) is also a co-owner of the resort. By the way things are, she is bound to give a VERY positive comment.

I also do believe that most of the positive comments for
this resort have come from people known to the management of the resort itself. They were either friends or relatives and not bonafide bakasyonista.

hi..Treasures of Bolinao is NOT a recommended place to stay. I just want to share this because our group is one of there victim of there LOW quality service. Sana binawi nalang nila sa masarap na food and satisfied yung stomach namin pero hindi eh…” its a rocky beach you have to walk like 400Meters to reach the no rocks area.

Kung meron po kayong plans pumunta sa Treasures of Bolinao Resort..I’d rather suggest booked to another resort and please confirm all the resort there kung sino yung magandang service for us its our first time and not planning of going back there.

i Hope Department of Tourism will do there JOB in checking out this kind of resorts.

Hi Des May or Des Inabangan, simply time is precious. I can imagine the frustration you have with Treasures. I understand you feel about your stay. But all what I can say, we are happy with our stay, everything was ok. May be your approach is not correct. When you check into a resort or hotel respect the staff and observe courtecy and that is a common practice to any places. Not just we pay, we are entitle to abuse tresures staff and that is not right. We have to open our mind. Look at us, everything was ok. We are back in California and still talk about our good times at Treasures. I feel sorry about treasures, somebody got a G…. about this place.

RESSIE REYES MACARAEG!……WANTED!MANLOLOKO ITO SA U.K! FAKE DENTIST!…..ISAULI MO PERA NAMIN!….GANDA RESORT NYO!HUDAS! SANA MAKONSENSYA KA! DIYOS NA BAHALA SAYO!

Comment by KUGANG!

The above is true. She practised Dentistry and proclaimed her occupation as “Dentist”. UK Dental Council has confirmed that she was only registered with them as “Dental Nurse”. She is also being hounded by the UK Courts for her illegal activities involving monies close to £1million. Nakakahiya. I bet a great chunk of this resort business came from her illegal business activity in the UK
